Got Love Tokens?!?!?!

Love is in the air! Valentine's Day...which is also my FAVORITE holiday is right around the corner. Our friends at LovingYou.com have provided us with some cute, inexpensive romantic ideas that you can do with items you may already have at home! Get creative and show that special someone how much you LOVE them!!!!

Romantic Love Tokens by Jennifer Good

Can an eraser and a rubber band be considered a romantic gift? If they're given with the right message, you bet. In fact, giving your partner something from the heart can be as simple as giving a few items you probably have in your desk drawer right now. Just attach a note to each item signifying it's importance, and even a toothpick becomes a romantic token of your affection. The best part about using everyday items is they are easy to find, typically small enough to fit inside a crafted box, and can easily be mailed to a long distance love. Group a few together and you've got an instant Love Survival Kit as well. For more ideas see our list below.

Romantic Toothpick: Because I "picked out" the best fish in the sea.
Flower: In the garden of life, friendships are the flowers.

Thank You

Happy New Years everyone! It's a new year which means new beginnings and new opportunities. Time to start a new chapter in our lives! I must say I am one of those who was counting down the days, hours and minutes until the new year....I am thrilled that 2010 is finally here! 2009 was a rough year but I am very grateful for the support of my family and friends, experiences, opportunities, my 2009 clients and for those past clients who are still referring us to their engaged friends! My clients are the best!
Of course my events would not be successful without my vendors....what would I do without my awesome vendors?!?!? I THANK YOU ALL for helping to create beautiful memories for our clients.
My staff....how wonderful you all are! Whether your duties this year were researching, filing, set-up, or assisting at events, you all are a vital part of why we keep our clients happy. I THANK YOU ALL for everything and I look forward to our continuous growth in 2010.
2010 will bring some major changes to the More than Just Weddings family. Over the next few weeks we will be sharing some of the changes with you. Make sure you check back soon... After all your support is what got us where we are today!
Hugs & Kisses

Happy Holidays

It's official, after my 4:00 tasting today with the amazing Michael Compean from Michael C. Events I am on vacation! Everyone who knows me knows I am not "truly on vacation" the only way that will happen is if I am somewhere with no internet access because I love my work so much that I can never stay away! What this time means to me is spending more time with my kids, getting a little bit of rest and relaxation in, and revamping and preparing for the new year. I am very excited about all of the changes we will be experiencing in 2010.

I am forever grateful to those of you who have supported us throughout the year, for those clients that entrusted their special day to us, for those vendors who continue to offer our clients superior service, and for those of you who are constantly referring us to your engaged friends!

Thank you to you all, have a safe and Happy Holiday Season. 2010 is our year to shine! ;-)

Love Mexico Experience

Ok, I know I have been missing from the "blogging world" but life has been crazy, finishing up the end of the year weddings and prepping for wonderful new exciting things for 2010! At the beginning of December I had the opportunity to participate in the Love Mexico conference in the Mexico Riviera for wedding planners through the Association for Wedding Professionals international. What a fantastic opportunity that was. I reconnected with other fabulous planners I met in the Philippines as well as built new relationships with other amazing planners and had the opportunity to meet some of my facebook friends like Josefina Luna who is always posting gorgeous photos of the JW Marriott Cancun Resort and Spa which is what sparked my interest in Cancun. The venues in the Riviera Maya were awesome! The beautiful Barcelo Hotel and Resort was our host for the event. We were given the opportunity to tour other gorgeous locations, meet with talented suppliers, learn how to assist our destination brides, and experienced a Mayan Wedding. Such an unforgettable experience which has enabled me to better assist my clients looking for a destination wedding in Mexico. Here are a few shots from my Love Mexico experience!
