In April of 2009 I attended the OC AfWPi mixer, a mixer I almost did not make it to! There I met one of the most beautiful wedding vendors whose beauty radiates from the inside out. We became best friends within the first 5 minutes of conversation!!!! :-) During our conversation we talked about her relationship with her boyfriend and how much she wanted to marry him, and how I just knew I was going to plan her wedding when they decided to get married! Today...one year and almost two months later I have the PLEASURE of coordinating this beautiful lady's wedding! Through the whole wedding process Ana has remained humble, focused on her love with JT and her love for her beautiful family. This wedding will have so many personal touches that include their family members....I just know I am going to shed tears today! I get chills thinking about what is in store for them!!!! I will definitely be back with an amazing follow up I am sure!!!! ;-)

Are You Walking For Breast Cancer?!?!?!?

Nine years ago I lost my mother, my best friend, my confidant to the ugly thing we call Ovarian Cancer. My mom was my first inspiration for participating in the Revlon Walk years ago, but today I do it for many other reasons. Every time my best friend and I walk, we are saddened by the many loses and touched by the amazing strength of the survivors. When doing the walk I always run into other friends who are there in support of someone they lost to cancer, someone they love who is currently going through cancer, or they are there in hopes of helping to find a cure for breast and ovarian cancer.

Since the Revlon Walk is Mother's Day weekend, and in honor of my mom and all of the women who are affected by any form of cancer, we are offering all of our new clients a 10% discount off any package or a free wedding day gift for all of our current clients if you show us that you participated in the Revlon/Run Walk for 2010. I am In Love Once Again!!!!

So, I fell in love with another one of my couples....Melissa and Jeremy!!!! They are sooooooo adorable!!!! Melissa was one of my extremely calm and laid back brides, Jeremy was my funny, I can't wait till the honeymoon is here grooms!!!! Love, love, love their personalities!!! Part of the reason I love what I do is I get to work with such wonderful couples and always with an amazing team of wedding vendors. Andrea's Debut....

Last weekend our very own Andrea made her wedding coordination debut at Diana and Josh's wedding reception at The Reef in Long Beach. The beautiful reception decor included my favorite....a blinged out cake stand, was provided by Flowers on Mars and of course the elegant crystal trees by White Feathers Events. The view from the room was breathtaking. The dance floor was packed thanks to DJ Mars, and at the end of the night we had one very happy bride! Congratulations to Diana and Josh on the beginning of their happy lives together and to Andrea for doing a spectacular job!!!!

Well, she's not exactly "new" but her position is. Some of you may know Andrea as my fabulous assistant for the past two years! It brings me great pleasure to formally announce that Andrea is now a coordinator for More than Just Weddings! She has the experience, training, and skills to help create and execute a successful wedding or event.
